Dr. Aida Dorsainville

Meet Dr. Dorsainville, a warm-hearted psychologist whose passion for mental health shines through her every action. With a big heart for those facing life's toughest challenges, she's become a beacon of hope in the Sunshine State. Recently, she became licensed in New York, which allows her to offer her services remotely to those residents.

Her journey has been rich and varied - from guiding children and teens as they navigate learning hurdles and the unique worlds of learning disorders, to offering a helping hand to adults grappling with complex conditions like schizophrenia.

But that's just the start. Dr. Dorsainville's empathy runs deep, allowing her to connect with individuals from all walks of life, whether they've encountered the criminal justice system, faced homelessness, or battled substance abuse.

Now, she pours her expertise into vital roles, conducting competency evaluations for Central Florida's various judicial courts, helping veterans through the disability evaluation process, supporting parents in dependency cases, and assessing individuals for the Vocational Rehabilitation Office.

Also, over the last few years, she has completed training in performing immigration psychological evaluations. As such, she has been able to offer assessments to those filing for asylum, a hardship waiver or VAWA. Moreover, as a licensed psychologist, she is permitted to complete the N-648 form, which is the request for an exception to the English and civics testing requirements for naturalization because of physical or developmental disability or mental impairment when applying for U.S. citizenship.

At the helm of MPS Mental Health Clinic, Dr. Dorsainville is more than a leader; she's a mentor and friend to her team of talented clinicians. Together, they embody a culture of compassion and inclusivity, proudly serving the diverse fabric of Central Florida's community.

Come say hello to Dr. Dorsainville, where every client is met with an open heart and an open door.
