Sara Ouassari

Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern

Hi there!
Therapy can feel like a big step, but just by being here, you’ve already started your journey and that’s something to celebrate.

As a psychotherapist, I’m here to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and create lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and completely tailored to you because therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be your most authentic self, free from judgment and full of possibilities.

I specialize in addressing a range of concerns, from anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges to healing from trauma and managing life transitions. Whether it’s trust issues, communication struggles, parenting stress, or past experiences weighing you down, I’m here to help. I also bring experience in navigating cultural or generational conflicts, supporting blended families, and tackling the emotional toll of chronic stress or burnout.

Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional connections, and build resilience together. My goal is to empower you with tools, insights, and strategies that make life feel more balanced, fulfilling, and in your control.

Therapy isn’t all heavy lifting. Sometimes, it’s about laughing at life’s absurd moments, celebrating your progress, and discovering that growth can feel pretty amazing. Think of me as your therapist and your hype person, here to celebrate your wins, hold space for the hard stuff, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. Let’s build something meaningful together and maybe have a few light-hearted moments along the way.
